About
This site will be dedicated to spreading information about Old Orthodox Christianity or what is most-commonly called Old Ritualism. A lot of the information on the site will be my amateur translations from Russian. Thus, I want to ask the readers to forgive me for various grammar mistakes. I’d be glad if you will point out my mistakes when you see them.
Your English is much better than what you usually find on sites written by non-native English speakers in English order to reach more people than would otherwise be the case.
Don’t worry about your English, it’s more than OK. It’s even good, though perhaps not perfect. On the other hand; who cares?
For me you site is like a gft from above. I easily understand English, but my Russian is very poor. I am a convert to the Old Faith.
My English is not perfect either, but if I find some obvious and grave mistakes, I will let you know.
May God help you and bless this holy effort to make the Ancient, unchanged and authentic Orthodoxy known among the billions of people who understand English.
I am not sure if my idea is better, but I would prefer to write “forgive me for various GRAMMATICAL mistakes”. Anyway, that is no big deal.
Christ is in our midst, Flavian! С праздником Введения Богородицы!
Heard much about your from Alexis (in St. Petersburg) and fr. Basil =)
Thanks for kind words. I haven’t been updating the site for a while but now that I’m back in Canada, I’ll hope to start again.
Also maybe I could email you things before I post them so you can check them. Or maybe I can add you as a moderator… I don’t know if wordpress has that option.
If she agrees, I could give you an e-mailadress of a native English-speaker who lives in Moscow. I will send her a message and aske her if she agrees to correct you.
Do you have the e-mailadress of Alexey?
Please send it, given of course that Alexey agrees.
If you are not already in Facebook, please go there. Luba Fefelova in Oregon publishes a lot about the Old Faith in English. I will tell her to add you to her group if you just go into Facebook.
I do not think my English is good enough for corrections other than grave and obvious things and your English is very, very good for a non-native says another non-native.

Please send me a mail!
I sent you the email.
I have liked what you have put on you-tube. I am Emilia. I live in Tennessee where 10 years ago our Church formed a very small mission. I was baptized in Braila in 2000. My children and another family baptized by Father P. in Tennessee. I have lived and spent many times in the monastery at Manolea. So, not all Old Believers are Russian.
Keep up the beautiful work! Forgive me, Emilia
Wow! That is so wonderful to hear!
Well I need to stop being lazy and translate on a more regular basis. It is nice to know that someone’s actually reading =)
Is this website going to be update ever again? It has been over a year since the most recent post.
Please finish the translation of the Varakin debate!
It is so needful for those interested in Old Orthodoxy who are Anglophones.
With prayers for you and your family and hope that you will resume posting regularly on this your website!
Asking your prayers and forgiveness!
The least of sinners!
